Vytra Promotes New V.P. |

Vytra Health Plans, a leading regional health plan, has promoted Eileen Nolan to Vice President of Marketing. In her new role, Ms. Nolan is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the marketing, marketing communications and database management functions at Vytra Health Plans including market analysis and strategy development that builds and maintains business in specific market segments. In addition, she will help prepare the company to expand products and markets geographically by developing tools and corresponding support for the sales force. Ms. Nolan joined Vytra last year as the Director of Sales Support and Administration where she was responsible for the compilation and analysis of sales-related information and integrating this information into applied marketing and communication techniques across corporate and member segments. Prior to Vytra, Ms. Nolan served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at European American Bank, where she supported consumer and commercial asset lines of business. She also held several positions at Chase Manhattan Bank including Vice President, Retail Communications Manager and Director of Marketing for the Long Island region. Previously, she supported professional, private banking and investor services as Vice President at National Westminster Bank USA. "We are confident that Eileen's fact-based results-oriented approach to marketing and sales will exceed company expectations for existing market growth and help us expand geographically in the coming year," said Thomas J. McAteer, Vytra Health Plans President and CEO. "Her expertise in both consumer and business-to-business marketing is integral in defining and supporting our sales process." Ms. Nolan holds an MBA from Hofstra University and BS from St. Joseph's College. She resides in Farmingdale, NY.
In a historic moment, Smithtown Town Supervisor Patrick R. Vecchio and Joseph Lesnick, President of The Smithtown Library’s Board of Trustees signed an agreement on February 12, 2003 at Smithtown Town Hall, to transfer library assets from the Town of Smithtown to The Smithtown Library Special Library District. The completed transfer agreement signifies the last step in the process of creating the Special Library District, which began in November 2001 when Smithtown voters decided to change their library from a municipal library system.
