Mark Mulholland Named Co-Chair of Litigation Department.
Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C., announced today that Mark S. Mulholland of Bayport, partner and chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Group, has been named co-chair of the Litigation Department, the firm’s largest department with 18 attorneys.
Mulholland, who joined the firm in 1991, has represented clients including Fortune 50 companies through all phases of commercial litigation. He is an accomplished litigator and trial attorney with substantial experience in federal and state courts and arbitrations. He also has significant experience in the intellectual property field. Mulholland represents and advises software businesses, Internet firms and all manner of companies concerning trademark, copyright, licensing and technology issues. Starting his professional career as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, Mulholland served as Senior Defense Counsel for the National Training Center at Ft. Irwin, California representing soldiers at courts martial, and as Special Assistant to the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California.
In addition to his law career, Mulholland has served as a Trustee and Vice President of the Board of Education in Lindenhurst. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section, New York New Media Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, and serves as an Early Neutral Evaluator in the Eastern District of New York's Federal Court Mediation Program, and a Public Member of the New York Mercantile Exchange Adjudication Committee. Mulholland also is an elected trustee of The Long Island Aquarium at Bay Shore.
