COMPUTER WILL BE GIVEN AWAY TO LUCKY WINNER!

On Saturday, July 14, between noon and 2 p.m., WBAB morning radio personalities Roger and JP will build a state-of-the-art computer from scratch in NexTech's H.O.T.T. (hands on technical training) Lab. Stay for barbeque, great music and WBAB prizes and enter your name in a drawing to win the computer that Roger and JP build. You will be eligible to win simply by entering your name which will be held at 2pm (you must be present to win).

This live radio event is being held to promote awareness of careers in information technology and the steps involved in becoming a candidate for the 600,000 IT job openings currently reported by Microsoft. Join NexTech and WBAB's Roger and JP as these two regular radio guys prove that anyone can master computer technology with a little help from the experts. 

NexTech Training Solutions, LLC provides information technology training to corporate and private clientele, as well as enrollees at its partner universities and colleges. Programs range from introductory to advanced technical instruction, helping individuals prepare for and earn vendor-based industry certifications, secure jobs in the field of IT, and enhance their knowledge. Suffolk County Legislator Cameron Alden (R -Islip), a breast cancer survivor himself, is shown recently assisting rower Rick Shalvoy as he leaves Robert Moses State Park on his journey around Long Island. Shalvoy, in a personal crusade to raise funds to find a cure for breast cancer, expects to complete his annual "Row for a Cure" on Tuesday, July 10th. All donations will be dedicated to support research to help find a cure. Donations can be made by calling 1-800-ROW-CURE
