SUNY Farmingdale Approved for B.S. in Architectural Technology

Dr. Jonathan Gibralter, president of the State University of New York at Farmingdale, is pleased to announce that another new bachelor degree has been approved for the College.  Applications are being accepted for a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Technology.

Offered through the School of Engineering Technologies, the Architectural Technology program will prepare graduates who can bridge the gap between design and implementation of a building project.  Student will learn how to synthesize the aesthetic, technical, and functional elements of building design and construction.  The focus of the program is the application of technology.

Students in this program will be educated in the process involved in building design and construction from concept to completion.  They will be prepared for careers in the architectural, structural, and mechanical aspects of the design and construction of buildings. 

An additional purpose of the program is to prepare students for successful entry into graduate programs in architecture.

OLPH Life Teen 3rd Annual Maureen DePalma Walk Against Breast Cancer Raises over $14,000 for Breast Cancer Help and Families of Victims of World Trade Center Disaster
